1999 — Market feasibility study

Defining the DJ market in the U.S.

When BST explored expanding its professional audio product line into the United States, it retained Henry Collins to prepare a comprehensive market feasibility study. The report examined retail distribution channels, trade and consumer publications, customer demographics, and the competitive landscape, including the strengths and weaknesses of major brands. The analysis provided BST with the information needed to make an informed strategic decision. After reviewing the report, the company determined that it was not prepared to make the significant investment required for a successful entry into the U.S. professional audio market.

04 — How to engage

From first email to scoped engagement.

01

Tell Henry the situation

The audience, the decision, the timeline. One message is enough to start.

02

A short scoping call

Twenty minutes to agree on what would actually be useful — and whether Henry's the right fit.

03

A written proposal

Scope, format, and cost in plain language. No surprises after you say yes.

Book Henry.

Tell him the audience and the decision. He'll tell you the honest version of how he can help.
